Job summary

White Cap Canada in Kelowna is seeking a field-based Sales professional to profitably grow sales within an assigned customer base and achieve growth targets. You will prospect for new accounts, drive cross-sell opportunities, and build strong relationships with decision-makers across organizations.

The role requires field visits and some administrative tasks, with compensation consisting of base salary plus commission and a car allowance. Travel and a valid MVR may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline; 2–5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA with 2–4 years of experience; certification is required in some areas.
• Strong sales skills with telesales experience and proven phone sales abilities.
• Knowledge of construction supplies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new accounts and grow sales in assigned customer base.
• Increase core and cross-sell opportunities within existing customers.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Forecasts, bids, and develops sales opportunities; collaborates with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and complete required sales reports.
