Job summary

Carrier Sekani Family Services (CSFS) invites applications for a Family Preservation Worker in Vanderhoof, BC. This Indigenous-led organization delivers health, legal and social services to support healing and self-determination.

The Opportunity

Position Title: Family Preservation Worker

Location: Vanderhoof, BC

Employment Type: Full Time 35 hours per week

What You’ll Do

• Perform assessments, implement goal plans and collect data and charting on progress
• Develop community programming based on demonstrated need and program objectives as outlined in funding contracts, community plans and individual goal plans. Provides services to clients supported by evidence, research and multidiscipline expertise on the wide range of health, social, and program specific issues related to health care services within First Nation communities and CSFS clinics.
• Collaborates with other multidisciplinary team members and physicians to facilitate an inter‑professional approach to standards of practice with a focus on promoting team‑based care.

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $32.85 to $42.54 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
