Job summary

South Calgary Primary Care Network seeks a Manager to lead the Family Care Clinic, directing day-to-day operations and advancing high-quality patient care. You will coordinate staff, physician onboarding, and interprofessional collaboration to support clinical programs and services.

The role requires experience in clinic management, governance, and complex scheduling, with a focus on privacy, quality metrics, and performance improvement in a dynamic primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in health administration or related field is an asset.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a health care clinic setting.
• Minimum of three years’ management experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary or interprofessional teams.
• Experience and working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record platforms.
• Knowledge of the Primary Care Health Billing system is an asset.
• Experience managing multiple program budgets, budget administration, and payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic/centre and optimize patient flow while maintaining quality of care.
• Plan and manage clinic operations; monitor delivery of patient services and coordinate office systems and procedures.
• Manage staff schedules to meet operational requirements and ensure adequate personnel and infrastructure.
• Recruitment onboarding for contracted physicians at the Wellness Centre and act as liaison as needed.
• Coordinate communication between patients and service providers, ensuring confidentiality and timely information flow.
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and coach clinic staff and conduct performance reviews.
