Overview

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Journeyperson HVAC — Anticipated Start Date: ASAP. Employer: Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Position: Full-Time, Permanent. Location: Jasper, Alberta. Wage Range: TBD.



Responsibilities


  • Responsible for all HVAC related trade work at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

  • Install, repair and maintain HVAC equipment.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.

  • Ensure all work in the HVAC department complies with federal and provincial codes and regulations.

  • Maintain power tools in good and safe working condition.

  • Coordinate with shift maintenance colleagues and train/assist as needed.

  • Assist other trades as they relate to HVAC maintenance.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with guests and colleagues.

  • Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies when driving hotel or guest vehicles.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications


  • High school and/or technical school education required.

  • Provincial Journeyperson’s certificate for the Province of Alberta required.

  • Background in HVAC or general knowledge of the trade required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

  • Gas Fitting Ticket is an asset.

  • Valid Alberta driver’s license required.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
