Job summary

SLEEGERS Engineered Products Inc. in London, Ontario is seeking a motivated Facility Support professional to maintain and improve building and equipment.

You will support daily operations, handle repairs, and assist with janitorial duties to ensure a safe, clean and efficient facility. The ideal candidate has prior facility or building maintenance experience, familiarity with manufacturing settings, forklift operation, and a mechanical mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Support general facility maintenance including recycling, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems.
  • Perform facility upkeep including cleaning, waste and recycling handling.
  • Operate motorized vehicles and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve problems and meet project deadlines.
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SLEEGERS Engineered Products Inc. is a leading North American supplier of engineered solutions for the pressure vessel and propane industries. We design and manufacture a variety of engineered products including propane motor fuel tanks, commercial and industrial pressure vessels, and automated propane cylinder vending kiosks.

Founded in 1963 and based in London, Ontario, we are proud to employ a diverse team of highly skilled welding and engineering professionals. Our 147,000 square foot production facility boasts a state-of-the-art air quality and ventilation system including air purifiers, ten skylights, strategically placed ceiling fans, top of the line welding machines and helmets and high efficiency LED lighting throughout the production floor.

The Opportunity

We are actively recruiting for an existing vacancy and are looking for a motivated individual to join our team in a Facility Support role. The ideal candidate will play a key role in facility, building and operation maintenance including repairs and janitorial duties to ensure safe, clean and effective operations. The Benefits
  • Regular, full-time employment status, paid biweekly
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $21.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
