Kawartha Lakes is seeking a part-time Facility Maintenance Operator II to assist in operating and maintaining community centres and arenas in the North Parks area. You will help with ice resurfacing, washroom cleaning, building maintenance, and revenue collection, working up to 24 hours weekly, including days, afternoons and weekends from September to March.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, good communication with the public and staff, and a valid Ontario G-class

Competenze

• Previous experience in arenas/ice operations or willingness and ability to learn
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with preventive maintenance of various types of equipment preferred
• Excellent customer-service, effective oral communication and strong interpersonal skills to deal with members of the public and staff
• First Aid and CPR preferred
• Possess and maintain a valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence
