Job summary

BGIS is seeking a reliable Cleaner for a designated site under contract. You will perform cleaning duties at the client site following the contract terms and health & safety guidelines, aiming to exceed client expectations.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in industrial/commercial facility cleaning, the ability to work independently, and strong verbal and written communication with good interpersonal skills. This is a full-time on-site position in Ottawa.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial/commercial facility cleaning.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of WHMIS and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Dust office furniture and clean waste baskets.
• Clean kitchen counters, sinks and appliances.
• Disinfect washrooms and touch surfaces.
• Report deficiencies or maintenance needs to management.
