Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional cleaning environments.
• Experience operating professional cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Strong understanding of cleaning methods, products, and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of WHMIS and workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across assigned facilities.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize common areas, offices, meeting rooms, and other workspaces.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure facilities remain fully stocked.
• Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials.
• Operate cleaning equipment including auto scrubbers, carpet extractors, and floor-care machines.
• Perform deep cleaning of carpets, upholstered furniture, and floor surfaces.
• Strip, refinish, polish, and restore hard floor surfaces.
• Support emergency cleaning and restoration activities related to spills, leaks, flooding, and contamination incidents.
• Travel between client sites and coordinate the movement of cleaning equipment, supplies, and materials between locations.
