Job summary

BGIS Sustainable Cleaning Solutions is seeking a reliable cleaner to join our on-site team in NB. You will perform routine floor care, waste handling, and general cleaning tasks across client sites, emphasizing safety, quality and client satisfaction.

The role requires ability to lift up to 25 pounds, follow safety guidelines and work weekends or holidays as needed. Training in WHMIS and OHSA basics is preferred; experience in institutional environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance in institutional environments.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds and climb ladders.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and shifts and at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Transport garbage and supplies as needed; maintain equipment.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Notify managers of major repairs or additions to building systems.
