Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited, a Canadian family-owned agriculture company, invites applications for a Facility Assistant I at the Watrous, SK grain facility. You will participate in the movement and sampling of grain and support the overall operations of the grain facility.

The role emphasizes safe handling, routine maintenance, and delivering exemplary customer service in a hands-on agricultural setting, with a focus on teamwork and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labour, preferably in agriculture.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to work in dusty environments and variable weather.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule.

The Role

As a Facility Assistant I, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operations of the grain facility.

Day to Day

• Collecting and testing grain samples
• Handling and delivering crop input products
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
• Performing exceptional customer service duties

What You’ll Bring

• Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
• Experience working in a customer service role is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
• Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
• Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions
