Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) is seeking a Facility Assistant in Weyburn, SK. You will help run the facility operations, handle crop inputs, assist in warehouse tasks, and support safety and housekeeping efforts daily.

The role requires general labour experience in agriculture, a valid Class 5 license, forklift knowledge, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• General labour experience, ideally in agriculture or farming.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent.
• Experience operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfort working in environments with dust and allergens.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Handle, unload and deliver crop inputs products.
• Assist in warehouse operations: sort seed, stack chemicals, transfer bulk products into totes.
• Prepare custom application equipment.
• Maintain facility housekeeping and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service on a daily basis.

The Role

As a Facility Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the operations of the facility.

Day to Day

• Handling, unloading and delivering crop inputs products
• Assisting in warehouse operations: sorting seed, stacking chemicals, transferring bulk product into totes
• Preparing custom application equipment
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
• Performing exceptional customer service duties

What You’ll Bring

• Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Experience using a forklift and other warehouse equipment
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
• Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
• Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions
