Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited in Amberley, Ontario is seeking a Facility Assistant to support crop inputs handling and warehouse operations within the Grain & Crop Inputs division. The role emphasizes safe work practices and hands-on duties such as unloading, delivering, equipment prep, and routine maintenance.

Ideal candidates have general labour experience in agriculture and are willing to work in all weather conditions, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Formación

• Experience in agriculture or farming is preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to work in environments with dust and allergens.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions.

• Assist in warehouse operations: sort seed, stack chemicals, transfer bulk product into totes.
• Prepare custom application equipment.
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping.

Your Team

Grain & Crop Inputs: The Grain & Crop Inputs Division connects Canadian farmers to markets across the country and beyond. With a network of grain elevators, terminals, and agri-retail locations, we provide crop inputs, agronomic solutions, and grain marketing expertise to help producers succeed.

The Role

As a Facility Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the handling of crop inputs, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operations of the crop inputs facility.

Day to Day

• Handling, unloading and delivering crop inputs products
• Assisting in warehouse operations: sorting seed, stacking chemicals, transferring bulk product into totes
• Preparing custom application equipment
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
• Performing exceptional customer service duties

What You’ll Bring

• Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
• Experience working in a customer service role is a plus
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
• Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
• Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions
