Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) in Bow Island, Alberta is seeking a Facility Assistant to support grain movement, sampling and the overall execution of facility operations. The role involves loading/unloading shipments, collecting samples, handling crop inputs, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

We value a hard-working team player with a valid driver’s license, able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in dusty conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming.
• Experience working in a customer service role is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
• Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
• Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions

Your Role

As a Facility Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operations of the grain facility.

• Contributing to the movement of grain by loading/unloading shipments
