Job summary

Family & Children’s Services of Renfrew County is seeking a Facilities Operations & Projects Supervisor to oversee the safe, cost-efficient operation of all buildings and grounds across multiple sites in Renfrew County, with regular travel to Pembroke locations.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead preventative maintenance, manage contractors, oversee procurement, and coordinate facility improvements, space planning and asset management to ensure accessible, welcoming service

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in facilities management or related field.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in facilities, building operations or a related role.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Experience sourcing and managing contractors and service providers.
• Experience developing or administering operating and preventative maintenance budgets.
• Experience with emergency preparedness, fire safety, physical security or business continuity planning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operation, maintenance and repair of all FCSRC-owned buildings and grounds.
• Coordinate facilities-related matters with tenants, partners and building users.
• Develop and maintain site-specific preventative maintenance plans.
• Coordinate contractor access and ensure work minimizes service disruption.
• Oversee procurement, purchasing and inventory for facilities services.
• Support emergency preparedness and safety across sites.
