Your Impact:

As a Facilities Manager at UCS Forest Group, you will ensure a functional and safe workplace by managing security, parking, cleaning, and building maintenance. You will also oversee renovations, compliance with regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies. This role also includes waste disposal, budgeting, record keeping, and supporting office systems like IT and essential equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Manager to come in and make immediate impact and improvements.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Plan facility activities, manage schedules and contracts, set work standards, and evaluate external contractors.
• Maintain a strong understanding of building design, zoning compliance, construction costs, and maintenance needs.
• Procure furniture and equipment for workspaces and locker rooms when required.
• Focus on budgeting and cost control for services, contracts, and maintenance.
• Coordinate system repairs, monitor performance, and manage contracts for landscaping, snow removal, and other maintenance tasks.
• Develop group-wide contracts where feasible.
• Conduct equipment and site audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Oversee building security, air quality, and accessibility compliance (ADA, AODA).
• Manage operations, maintenance, and repairs, including exterior upkeep, trash, and pest control.
• Plan and coordinate installations such as telecommunications, heating, and electricity.
• Review utility consumption to optimize costs.
• Liaise with Operations Managers on parking space allocation, waste disposal, and building security.
• Perform cost analysis and forecasting to support efficient facility management.
