Job summary

MacLean Engineering is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead a small team of tradespeople and janitorial staff in Collingwood. You will plan maintenance tasks, ensure safety compliance, and improve equipment reliability while managing costs.

Role requires strong supervisory skills, knowledge of maintenance systems, and CAD experience. This on-site position offers a day shift with opportunities for professional growth in a world-renowned company.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Diploma/degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial discipline or related trade.
• 5+ years in maintenance planning, supervisory, or production management.
• Experience with AutoCAD and CMMS is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maximize team utilization and efficiency across conflicting priorities.
• Communicate goals and expectations to team members and contractors.
• Coach and mentor staff; deliver annual performance appraisals.
• Enforce PPE use and safe work practices at all times.
• Develop preventive/predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.
• Update master floor plans using CAD and document tasks.
