Job summary

MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co. is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician for the Barrie, Ontario site. The role involves hands-on maintenance of production and facilities equipment, preventative maintenance, and minor installations to support operations.

The successful candidate will have a diploma or degree in a related field, applicable electrical/mechanical experience, and familiarity with CMMS. Weekend and overtime may be required with a competitive wage package.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in a related discipline is an asset.
• Experience with electrical systems, wiring, or electrical troubleshooting is an asset.
• Five or more years in a facility maintenance or building management role.
• Forklift, overhead crane & slinging, fall arrest, working at heights, LOTO and CMMS experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs on production and facilities equipment.
• Install, dismantle, and overhaul machinery as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
• Operate drills, grinders, saws, and hand tools for repairs and installations.
• Maintain records and submit maintenance reports.
