Job summary

Startdate is seeking two Logistics Worker I to support the Recreation Department at the Community Knowledge Campus in Grande Prairie. The role involves preparing spaces for public use, setting up and taking down equipment, and assisting with events and programs across the campus.

Responsibilities include scheduling, providing equipment, safety compliance, and frontline guest support. The position is temporary with a November 1, 2027 end date and an average 20-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• 1 year of directly related experience as a Logistics Worker Assistant or equivalent.
• Valid Standard First Aid with CPR level C and AED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare facility spaces for public use, including equipment setup and takedown.
• Monitor daily bookings and ensure rooms/equipment are ready for use.
• Provide equipment to patrons and ensure inspection and proper storage.
• Assist with events, parties, and large-scale activities as frontline support.
• Maintain safety and guidelines, coordinate with custodial and security teams.
• Handle last-minute changes, double bookings, and space readiness.
• Assist with laundry, cleaning, and maintenance tasks as needed.
