Job summary

Westerner Park in Red Deer, Canada, seeks an experienced Manager, Park & Facilities to lead operations, maintenance, and readiness of buildings, grounds, fleet, and site equipment. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive priorities, service standards, and resource plans while ensuring safety and readiness for events and year-round operations.

You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets, coordinate with partners, and oversee asset management and ongoing improvements to deliver

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education, trade certification, or equivalent experience in facility operations, building maintenance, construction, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities, maintenance, grounds, property, or large-site operations.
• Supervisory or management experience leading multidisciplinary teams and external service providers.
• Experience with budgeting, resource management, and operational planning.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance and work-order systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and readiness of buildings, facilities, grounds, roads, fleets, and site equipment.
• Develop and manage annual operating budget and capital needs within approvals.
• Direct staffing, scheduling, and performance development forPark & Facilities teams.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to support events, safety, and operations.
• Oversee fleet, equipment, waste management, and parking/RV operations.
• Act as liaison with municipal partners and lead maintenance committee coordination.
