Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Supervisor in Canada to lead a team delivering hard and soft FM services, coordinating with clients, vendors and contractors. You will supervise maintenance programs, budgets, and performance plans while ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• University/college degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Electrical ticket is an asset.
• 5–7 years of facilities management experience; data center exp preferred.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and applicable codes.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• LEED certification is an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office and Project.
• Ability to work within codes/regulations pertaining to maintenance functions.
• Authorized to work in Canada without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day FM services, including facility operations and maintenance.
• Meets with the client to discuss facility enhancements and asset plans.
• Develops monthly reports and comprehensive business plans for the facility.
• Manages recruitment, mentoring, coaching and development of staff.
• Develops/implements maintenance and operations goals aligned with project requirements.
• Oversees procurement and management of external service providers.
• Ensures compliance with codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Investigates issues and initiates corrective action as needed.
