Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Environmental Services Manager in Olds, AB. You will oversee the Environmental Services team and ensure the upkeep and appearance of the retirement community, including grounds, furniture, and equipment.

You will manage maintenance, housekeeping, vendor relationships, and safety tasks while supporting resident needs and adherence to compliance standards. The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination to maintain a high-quality living

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance-based workplaces or renovations.
• Housekeeping experience is an asset.
• Ability to schedule and budget for a team.
• Certification in general maintenance is an asset.
• Experience in painting, cleaning and minor home repairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of the community, preventive and unscheduled tasks.
• Manage housekeeping routines and supply orders.
• Respond to resident requests and coordinate vendor calls.
• Liaise with external service vendors for quotes and work orders.
• Perform safety audits and monthly JHSC-related tasks.
• Schedule tasks and vendors for compliance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
