Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to ensure smooth operation of our job site. You will organize office moves, provide admin support, and coordinate vendors while maintaining accurate FM system records and inventory.

The role requires a degree or certification in facilities/office services and 3–5 years of relevant experience. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive total rewards program, with benefits and potential bonuses where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage all aspects of internal office moves and coordinate with vendors.
  • Provide administrative support including answering calls and handling Workplace Services emails.
  • Create vinyl names for office and meeting room doors as needed.
  • Follow up and complete all Facility Service requests.
  • Update FM System as Associates join and as floor plans change.
  • Perform pre- and post-move inventory and supervise movers and space changes.

Job description

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process.

Now, If You Were To Come On Board As Our Facilities Coordinator, We’d Ask You To Do The Following For Us
  • Organize and manage all aspects of internal office moves, receive and process client move requests, coordinate with and scheduled vendors, and create and distribute move communications and labels to clients, ensuring the move processes are in accordance with client’s policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support such as answering incoming calls, participate in Workplace Services meetings as well as respond and manage Workplace Services (WPS) emails in a timely manner.
  • Create all vinyl names for office and meeting room doors when needed.
  • Follow up and complete all Facility Service requests.
  • Update FM System as new Associates are on board and floor plans when needed as reconfigurations take place.
  • Perform pre- and post-move inventory, furniture inventory, hang move signage, and supervise movers, furniture reconfiguration and space enhancements.
