Job summary

The Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport and Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna are seeking a Food & Beverage Coordinator to support all F&B operations under the F&B Manager. You will help maintain training plans, prepare staff schedules, handle payroll and onboarding, and ensure outstanding guest experiences across events and daily service.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, hospitality or banquet operations.
• Serving It Right required.
• Food Safe and First Aid certification is an asset.
• Guest-focused approach with a passion for F&B trends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain training plans with managers/trainers and onboard new hires.
• Set up training sessions including new hire orientation and system training (Squirrel, OpenTable, 7shifts).
• Communicate menu changes and events; update staff notices and badges.
• Create weekly F&B schedules based on events and reservations; process time-off requests.
• Payroll: review timesheets in Payworks and consolidate hours for payout.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding with relevant departments.
• Review guest feedback and OpenTable/guest inquiries; ensure timely responses.
• Maintain OpenTable: floor plans, event links, menus and hours.
• Edit product/price in Squirrel; manage inventory and reorder as needed.
• Maintain BEO binder for events; coordinate FOH/BOH communication.
• Oversee banquet equipment; manage purchasing and vendor relations.
• Produce reporting for F&B leadership and assist with cost controls.
• Attend weekly meetings; support operations and staff recognition.
