Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts (CRMR) Banff is seeking an experienced F&B Banquet Supervisor to oversee banquet operations and events while supporting restaurant operations when needed. You will supervise banquet staff, coordinate events, and maintain exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires leadership, event planning expertise and a commitment to high service standards. CRMR offers subsidies for staff accommodation and meals, growth opportunities across properties and a strong team

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning and banquets, including.buffets and weddings.
• Strong leadership and people skills; ability to supervise shifts and mentor staff.
• Experience in reading BEOs and executing banquet details.

• Coordinate with kitchen for banquet menu execution and timing.
• Train, coach and mentor banquet servers and support staff.

• Monitor banquet labor costs and maintain budgets.

Position Overview:

As F&B Banquet Supervisor, your primary goal is tooversee banquet operations and events while supporting the restaurantoperations when needed. You will ensure efficient and profitable F&Boperations while upholding the highest standards of quality and service. Yourrole encompasses supervising banquet staff, coordinating events, andmaintaining exceptional guest experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead banquet service operations,including setup, execution, and breakdown
• Coordinate with kitchen team forbanquet menu execution and timing
• Train, coach and mentor banquet serversand support staff
• Assist in supervising the restaurantoperations as needed
• Model exemplary customer service andproblem resolution
• Support event planning and executionwith sales and events team
• Monitor banquet labor costs andmaintain budgets
• Manage banquet inventory and supplies
• Enforce cash handling and servicepolicies
• Maintain health and safety compliance
• Communicate effectively regarding eventdetails and guest feedback
• Perform hands-on duties includingserving, setting up conference rooms, and supporting restaurant servicewhen required

Requirements/Experience:

• Event planningexperience an asset Extensive experience in banquets — including buffets,plated dinners, weddings, and conference events.
• Experience inreading and understanding BEOs and execution according to the details provided.
• Experience inrestaurant service to be able to support the restaurant during non-banquettimes as needed.
• Flexible withscheduling — available for early morning shifts (as early as 6am) and latenights for wedding functions.
• Strongleadership and people skills — will be responsible for supervising shifts,handling guest issues professionally, and coaching/mentoring junior teammembers.
• Work directlywith the Banquet Manager and F&B Manager, successful candidate must beteam-oriented and communicative
• Previous weddingexperience is an asset as we do a high volume of those events.
