Job description

As a core management leadership role as Project Manager/Estimator is to effectively tackle a wide range of projects, primarily residential exterior based renovations including a varied range of home modifications and additions, with some interior renovations.

You are expected to be goal oriented and have the following skills and experience, or strong aptitude to acquire these skills:

• Extensive experience with hands on construction management, especially (but not limited to) exterior installations e.g. Hardie Siding and Acrylic Stucco, Rain Ware, full Garage Builds, Home Modifications, Deck Re-Builds Windows & Doors, Stone Veneers, Concrete Work, Sloped Roofing.
• A variety of Project Management experiences.
• The ability to manage site take offs, read plans and specifications.
• Outstanding professionalism, excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to meet deadlines and creative problem-solving skills.
• A willingness to take on challenges with enthusiasm.
• Customer service experience an asset.

As Estimator/Project Manager you will be responsible for;

• Directly responsible for managing and supporting our core group of in-house installers as well as sub-trades in their sub contracts for installation of various exterior materials, mid size faming builds such as garages, home modifications, deck re-builds etc.
• Assisting with estimating the cost of labour, material and equipment; analyzing trade requirements/scope of work, as well as preparing tender documents for single and multi-family homes.
• Assisting with preparing purchase orders for materials and supplies required for projects, maintaining organized records of all such orders.
• Negotiating prices and costs for materials and labour as required or considered prudent.
• Being fully available in the field to effectively respond to and address calls from RidgeCrest trades people, suppliers and clients is essential.
• Willing to incorporate flexibility into hours when necessary to meet homeowners, with some brief evening and weekend communications and meetings as required.
• Willing to manage a large scope of exterior installations from residential to mid size commercial.
