Job summary

Fountain Tire Sherwood Park is seeking a responsible, safe, and experienced Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger and light truck vehicles, and maintain TPMS systems in a clean, safe shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive tire shops required.
• Ability to lift 25 kg (55 lbs).
• Good customer service and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger and light truck vehicles.
• Reset and repair TPMS.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular basis.
• Perform specialty tire work (studding, retread, etc.).
• Assist in inventory documentation and counts.
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and coworkers.

Fountain Tire Sherwood Park, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and experienced Tire Technician to join our team!

You will be responsible for

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• We are looking for Tire Technicians with experience in an automotive tire shop
• Proficiency with oil changes, inspections, tire changeovers/balancing/replacement is a considerable asset
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
