Job summary

Fountain Tire Sherwood Park is looking for a responsible Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels on passenger and light trucks, and work with TPMS while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in an automotive tire shop.
• Proficiency with oil changes, inspections, tire changeovers/balancing/replacement is an asset.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires and wheels is a plus.
• Customer-service focused with the ability to build relationships with team members and customers.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Resetting and repairing TPMS.
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Completing specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.).
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual counts.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and coworkers.

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• We are looking for Tire Technicians with experience in an automotive tire shop
