Job summary

Aurora Land Consulting Ltd. in Edmonton is seeking an Experienced Surface Land Administrator to support land acquisitions, negotiations, and administration across pipelines, rights-of-way, and facility developments.

You bring 3-5 years of surface land admin experience in Alberta/Saskatchewan, a Land Administration Certificate (preferred), and strong MS Office skills to maintain accurate land files and use SPIN, EDS, ISC, and ILRS systems.

• 3-5 years of recent, hands‑on Surface Land Administration experience in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
• A Land Administration Certificate (preferred) or equivalent working knowledge.
• Strong MS Office skills and the ability to adapt to land management systems.

• Managing Public Land applications and Directive 56 notifications
• Reviewing and managing third-party agreements
• Auditing packages and tracking stakeholder consultations
• Working across SPIN, EDS, ISC, and ILRS systems
• Keeping our land files and database accurate and up to date

Since 1997, Aurora Land Consulting has been a proven leader in surface land consultation and management - and our team keeps growing to match. We're looking for a talented Surface Land Administrator to join us in our Edmonton office.

About the role

You’ll be the connector between landowners, government agencies, and client project teams - supporting land acquisitions, negotiations, and administration across a wide range of projects: pipelines, drilling, well site rights-of-way, powerlines, road easements, and facility developments.

What you’ll be doing

• Drafting and processing Surface Leases and Right-of-Way Agreements
• Managing Public Land applications and Directive 56 notifications
• Reviewing and managing third-party agreements
• Auditing packages and tracking stakeholder consultations
• Working across SPIN, EDS, ISC, and ILRS systems
