Job summary

Push Operations in Halifax is seeking an experienced Part-Time Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll work evenings and weekends, producing a range of dishes with accuracy and speed. You’ll rotate through char broilers, flat-tops, sauté/pan stations and deep fryers to prepare steaks, burgers, pasta and fish.

A strong team ethic and consistency with recipes are essential. We offer $18–$20/hour plus an average of $4.25+/hour in tips, with a supportive crew and a lively, respectful

Qualifications

• Previous line-cook experience — ideally 3–4 years.
• Comfortable working multiple stations in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work the middle/call the board and keep service running smoothly.
• Consistency with recipes, plating and franchise standards.
• A calm, dependable attitude when things get busy.
• Someone who works well with both our Kitchen and Front-of-House teams.

$18-$20/hour + average $4.25/hour in tips: ($22.25-$24.25/hour)

We’re looking for an experienced Part-Time Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

Our menu gives you plenty of variety. You’ll work with char broilers, flat-tops, sauté/pan stations and deep fryers, preparing everything from steaks and burgers to pasta, fish, breakfast and our fryer favourites.

Availability

This is a part-time position, primarily evenings and weekends. We offer some flexibility with scheduling and can discuss availability during the interview.
