Job description

This position is ideal for an experienced Esthetician who enjoys performing a variety of skin care services and working with a team of Estheticians to grow the spa. The compensation structure includes a base pay plus commission based on individual and team performance. The ideal candidate should be committed and flexible.

As an experienced Esthetician, you will engage with customers and staff, providing outstanding service that creates an exceptional spa experience.

About the role

As a qualified/experienced Esthetician, your goal is to bring skin health to clients’ daily lives, ensuring they leave feeling relaxed, happy, and rejuvenated.

You will greet customers, consult on their desired treatments, and provide excellent services. You will also suggest additional treatments to enhance their experience.

This position offers growth into an Esthetics Manager role, overseeing and training Estheticians, ensuring high standards of service, and driving sales within the department.

This is a full-time or part-time position requiring evening and weekend availability. Responsibilities

1. Perform esthetic services according to H&S protocols and contribute to Skin Services revenue.
2. Attend training on products, treatments, customer engagement, and sales techniques.
3. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and techniques, and train the team accordingly.
4. Monitor and analyze sales and performance metrics, developing strategies to meet sales targets.
5. Collaborate on promotions, campaigns, and initiatives to grow the Esthetics business.
6. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation standards, and regulations.
7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
8. Promote a positive team environment through effective communication and teamwork.
9. Experience with Dermalogica products is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Ontario Esthetics Diploma
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of esthetic treatments, skincare products, and industry trends
• Proven sales ability with a record of achieving targets
