Responsibilities
  • Producing technical design and contract documents in compliance with Owner’s Statement of Requirements, in collaboration with project teams.
  • Working with senior team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements and regulations.
  • Providing technical design solutions for facility construction including interior and exterior assemblies.
  • Coordinating with internal production teams and project sub-consultants.
  • Providing technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff.
  • Assisting with contract administration including site visits and working with construction contractors.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.
  • 6+ years’ working as an Architectural Technologist for an Architectural consulting firm. Must have experience in commercial, institutional, healthcare, or industrial project types.
  • Candidates must demonstrate substantial product knowledge, and an ability to detail architectural building systems, and put together full drawing packages suitable for tender.
  • REVIT software experience is necessary.
  • Preference given to candidates with understanding of BIM principles & workflows; Microsoft 365 environment; construction site experience; and Bluebeam.
