Job summary

Full Circle Studio in Canada is seeking an Experience Designer to help shape how players experience skate.™, collaborating across design, production, research, art, and engineering to deliver cohesive features from concept to implementation.

You will refine user flows, wireframes, and interactions, advocate for the player, and contribute to design quality and team alignment in a hybrid Vancouver/Montreal environment, with strong focus on usability and player-centric outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional UX design experience using Figma.
  • Portfolio demonstrating impactful UX work, with clear examples of design process, design rationale, documentation, and outcomes.
  • Experience with UX and interaction design principles, including user flows, information hierarchy, wireframing, prototyping, and player-centred thinking.
  • Experience collaborating across game development disciplines, including Design, Production, Research, Art, and Engineering.
  • Positive, collaborative mindset with a commitment to learning, improving craft quality, and contributing to stronger team outcomes.

At Full Circle, we are redefining what it means to create and play together. We are the studio behind skate.™, an online, free‑to‑play skateboarding sandbox set in an ever‑evolving world. With cross‑play and cross‑progression, skate. moves with you, wherever you play. This role follows a hybrid work model and is based out of our Vancouver or Montreal studio.

The Experience Designer will report to the Associate Experience Director.

Responsibilities
  • Design and refine player flows, wireframes, interaction patterns, and layouts that improve clarity, usability, and comprehension.

Pay Transparency - North America

British Columbia (depending on location, e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) $104,500 – $142,800 CAD

Benefits

We offer vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan for regular full‑time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
