Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is seeking an Expeditor (12-Month Contract) to join the Purchasing & Logistics teams. You will own supplier coordination, manage demand schedules, and support customs and trade compliance while ensuring on-time deliveries in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to escalate issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• 0–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• MRP/ERP experience (SAP preferred) is a plus.
• Strong MS Office suite skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Detail-oriented, proactive and with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across suppliers.
• Issue weekly and bi-weekly supplier EDI demand schedules.
• Collect supplier delivery confirmations and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze supplier demand shifts and prepare shipping documentation.
• Support customs, tariffs, trade compliance and reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and material movements.
• Escalate issues to Buyers and Management; maintain SAP records.

Company Overview:Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the exclusive production facility of the Mustang GTD, Ford GT, Ford GT MK II & MK IV racing cars and the Ford Bronco DR racing truck.Position Overview:Multimatic Niche Vehicles NA is seeking an Expeditor (12-Month Contract) who will work as a part of the Purchasing & Logistics teams, having ownership of assigned suppliers. This role requires outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, strong typing skills, strong interpersonal skills, sense of urgency, ability to effectively communicate and ability to escalate issues in a timely manner when required. Previous experience with MRP/ERP is an asset. Proven experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing industry would be ideal for this role.Working with purchasing, logistics, and operations teams, you will be responsible for assuring assigned suppliers receive demand requirements in timely and on-going basis, collect supplier delivery confirmations, support customs and trade compliance processes, coordinate shipping activity for assigned suppliers, and support assigned reporting initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a highly operational environment where attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong coordination skills are highly valued.Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate and arrange inbound and outbound shipmentsIssue weekly & bi-weekly supplier EDI Demand Schedules and collect supplier delivery confirmations for assigned suppliersAnalyse assigned suppliers demand shifts and received delivery confirmationsPrepare, review, and maintain customs and shipping documentation to support smooth import and export activity.Support reporting and data analysis related to inventory, tariffs, trade compliance, and operational performance.Monitor inventory levels and material movements of assigned supply scopeEscalate all commercial, material & delivery issues to appropriate Buyers and ManagementMaintain accurate purchasing and logistics records within SAP and other internal systems.Collaborate closely with logistics, purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and support daily priorities.Other duties and responsibilities related to Expediting, Logistics and Purchasing as requested by the management teamExperience:Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration, IT or related field is preferred.0 to 3 years experience working within a manufacturing environment.0 to 3 years of MRP/ERP experience, preferably in SAPProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Advanced Excel Skills, Outlook, PP and Word.Supply Chain accreditation or working towards is an assetAbility to work independentlyAbility to prioritize and multitask, and extremely detail-orientatedInitiative-taking attitude towards work, teamwork, and co-operationStrong, effective communicator with critical thinking skills and superior problem-solving abilitiesStrategic and analytical mindsetThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
