Job summary

Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America in Newmarket, ON, is seeking a Vehicle Body Fit Technician to assemble the Ford Mustang GTD chassis and fit body panels with tight tolerances. You will follow build manuals, work with carbon fiber components, and contribute to a safety-focused, quality-driven manufacturing environment.

The role offers hands-on experience with high-performance vehicles and modern automotive technology, reporting to a Senior Assembly Technician.

Qualifications

• Must be organized and follow safety procedures in automotive assembly.
• Able to read and interpret workshop manuals.
• Experience with composite materials is an asset.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is an asset.

• Fit carbon fiber components to tight tolerances.

Position Overview:Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America is seeking a Vehicle Body Fit Technician to assemble the Ford Mustang GTD chassis. Reporting to a Senior Assembly Technician, the candidate will be responsible for the assembly of the chassis and fitting body panels of the vehicle.This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who desires hands-on experience with high performance vehicles, the latest in automotive technology, and has a passionate interest in automobiles.Duties and Responsibilities:Must be organized and work in a safe manner, following all safety procedures in an automotive assembly environmentBuilding sub-assemblies following supplied manualsMeticulously following build manuals and quality control processesFitting and assembly of carbon fiber components to tight tolerancesIdentifying quality issues as they ariseProblem solving, as necessaryComfortable working in a dynamic team environment and providing positive feedbackAdhering to our set production work hours (Monday – Friday)Adhering to Multimatic’s quality-focused attitude and work cultureTraining is provided as required.Education and Experience:Comfortable and competent using common hand and power toolsAble to read and interpret workshop manualsAble to work with minimal supervision and instructionExperience in composite material construction is an assetExperience in light fabrication is an assetExperience in manufacturing environments in an assetThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
