Job summary

Manulife John Hancock is offering a Business Operations & Executive Reporting Co‑op to develop hands‑on experience in executive reporting, strategic governance, and business operations. You will work with the Professional Practices Chief of Staff within Audit and Advisory Services to support leadership reporting, performance insights, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Communications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify trends, draw insights, and make practical observations from data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to organize information and present ideas clearly.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of executive presentations, leadership updates, briefing materials, and strategic communications for senior leaders.
• Assist in developing and maintaining KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting materials.
• Coordinate activities related to strategic initiatives and transformation projects, including tracking milestones and governing project activities.
• Prepare meeting materials, agendas, executive summaries, and follow‑up actions for leadership forums and cross‑functional groups.
• Track priorities, action items, and deliverables across multiple initiatives to ensure timely execution.
• Analyze data and business information to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information, support decision‑making, and drive project outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, workflow efficiency, and automation, including GenAI tools.
• Conduct research on industry trends and organizational effectiveness to support strategic planning.
• Contribute to special projects and evolving priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
