Interior Health Authority invites a Director, Indigenous Workforce & Equitable People Practices to advance reconciliation, lead equity, and shape Indigenous recruitment, retention, and leadership across IH.

Guided by Indigenous values, you will partner with communities, Elders, and IH leaders to design policies, programs and data governance that foster cultural safety, belonging, and anti-racism across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading equity, diversity and inclusion programs.
• Knowledge of Indigenous recruitment and retention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead IH-wide HR policies and procedures aligned with equitable people practices.
• Drive DEI, belonging, accessibility and Indigenous anti-racism initiatives.
• Develop sustainable pathways for Indigenous employment through partnerships.
• Redesign hiring practices with a focus on removing systemic barriers.
• Establish metrics and reports for equitable people practices and Indigenous data governance.
