Job summary

Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping Department as a key member of the Senior Management Team. You will ensure Relais & Chateaux, Forbes, AAA, and Wickaninnish Inn service standards are maintained and guest expectations are exceeded.

The role requires 2+ years of management or 4+ years in housekeeping, strong HR skills, and the ability to develop and enforce efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years management or supervisor experience in the service industry or 4 years of experience in a housekeeping department is necessary.
• Excellent Human Resources skills and people leadership are required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department as part of Senior Management.
• Lead by example to meet or exceed guest expectations and uphold brand standards.
• Develop and improve housekeeping systems, processes, and budgeting.
• Coordinate HR functions, scheduling, payroll, and employee development within the team.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and sustainable cleaning practices across the Inn.
