As a member of the Innovation Division’s management team, the Executive Director leads and manages the Policy and Legislation Branch, provides strategic advice and support to the Assistant Deputy Minister, and contributes to cross‑department initiatives that advance government priorities.
Provides strategic leadership for policy, legislative, regulatory, and operational initiatives that support innovation and economic growth. The role advises senior government officials, oversees planning, resource management, and organizational performance, and fosters a respectful, high-performing workplace culture. It also builds and maintains collaborative partnerships across government, industry, academia, and community organizations to advance departmental and government priorities.
