Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma in Health or Social Services from a program of at least two years.
• Currently enrolled or completed in a Long-Term Care Residence Administration or Management program with a minimum of 100 instructional hours.
• At least 3 years of leadership, management, or supervisory experience within the healthcare or social services sector.
• Previous experience working in Long-Term Care operations or administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a Long-Term Care residence to ensure resident well-being.
• Oversee resident admissions, transfers, and discharges with processes.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
• Monitor performance and ensure services function effectively.
• Support policy implementation across the residence and promote Resident Centered Care.
