Compass Group Canada is seeking a Hospitality Manager – Executive Conferencing to oversee all food & beverage services for the Conference Centre, Workplace Catering, and Executive Committee Catering. You will lead supervisors and front-of-house teams, coordinate with culinary and bookings teams, and ensure seamless event execution across service areas.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cost control, and delivering exceptional guest experiences for high-profile events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in banquet, event or conference management.
• Certifications required: Smart Serve, Basic First Aid, Basic Food Safety; ability to complete Advanced Food Safety Training within 30 days of hire.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent client relations and guest service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all F&B services for the Conference Centre, Workplace Catering, and Executive Committee Catering.
• Lead a team of supervisors, servers, bartenders, and porters to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with culinary and bookings teams to manage conference centre logistics and service execution.
• Maintain high standards of floor operations, service quality, and event execution.
• Handle guest service concerns, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with SLAs.
