Job summary

Equinix in Toronto, Canada, seeks a seasoned leader to design, implement, and manage executive compensation programs aligned with company performance and shareholder value. You will partner with the Board's Compensation Committee and senior executives to ensure market competitiveness and governance excellence.

You will oversee base salary, annual incentives, long-term incentives, and special awards, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive compensation experience with deep expertise in executive compensation.
• Experience preparing materials for Compensation Committees and Boards of Directors.
• Deep knowledge of executive compensation regulations, governance trends, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, long-term incentives, and special awards.
• Partner with senior leadership and the Compensation Committee to ensure programs are competitive and governance standards are met.
• Develop and oversee executive compensation job evaluation, leveling, and approval processes with HR and executive leadership.
• Prepare materials and analyses to support executive pay decisions for the Compensation Committee.
• Lead benchmarking analyses using survey and peer group data; collaborate with Finance on budgeting and accounting implications.
