Equinix is seeking a strategic Localization Leader to oversee translation and localization across the organization. You will establish language standards, govern processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale our multilingual content.

Based in our Toronto office, Canada, the role involves managing vendors, defining service levels, and driving continuous improvement. The targeted pay range for Canada - Toronto Office is 154,000 to 232,000 CAD annually, with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in localization and translation management.
• Proven expertise in localization, translation management, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of language tiering models and translation quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and driving process improvements.
• Familiarity with translation tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own internal guidance on language sets, service levels, and translation quality.
• Evaluate and update priority languages and language tiering models as markets expand.
• Lead localization governance and best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with business units to identify content requiring translation by language tier.
• Manage translation vendors, tooling, and integration points.
• Establish a global content delivery pipeline for translated content.
