Job summary

Kemptville District Hospital is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our growing KDH team. Reporting directly to the CFO/VP of Operations, you will play a pivotal role supporting the administrative needs of an executive in a dynamic hospital environment.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s or EA diploma and 5+ years of senior administrative experience, preferably in healthcare; strong organization and discretion are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or an EA diploma (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of office management or administrative experience with senior level healthcare exposure preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and SharePoint; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CFO/VP Operations.
  • Manage calendars, emails, travel, and meeting coordination for an executive.
  • Communicate with diverse stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality.

Job description

Kemptville District Hospital is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our growing KDH team! As the Executive Assistant reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer/VP of Operations (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the administrative needs of an executive in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or an Executive Assistant diploma from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience);
  • 5+ years of office management or administrative experience with at least years of recent healthcare experience at a senior level;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint;
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar role, preferably supporting executives in a healthcare setting;
  • Understanding of healthcare terminology, regulation, and compliance requirements is an asset;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
  • Excellent organization and time management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Ability to maintain composure and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Starting Wage:

$33.46/hour
