Job summary

Encore Global in Vancouver is seeking an experienced Events Supervisor to oversee crews, equipment, and customer service for hotel/convention center events. You will manage logistics, costing, and coordination with Account Executives and facility representatives to ensure seamless productions.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and flexibility to work irregular hours. Candidates must hold a post-secondary education and a valid driver’s license; Encore equipment

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize event logistics with operators to control direct labor costs.
• Review work orders for equipment and manpower; coordinate with Account Executives.
• Assist Account Executives with quotes and work orders.
• Plan cabling, accessories and backup equipment on work-orders.
• Ensure Show Resume and Floor Plan accompany work orders.
• Coordinate with facility/client on room availability and timings.
• Coordinate timelines with other event suppliers.
• Order power drops and arrange transport for large events.
• Direct supervision of AV Technicians; supervise staff as assigned.
• Assist with staff meetings, training and capex budgeting.
• Prepare daily work orders and assist with job costing.
• Ensure Post Meeting Reports are completed for closing.
