Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Strategically monitor key trends in events to ensure the highest quality levels in ideas and delivery (virtual, in-person, and hybrid).
- Develop and monitor the yearly event budget, collaborating with the Head of Marketing & Communications and local front officers during the planning process, and ensuring added value business content alongside entertainment.
- Develop, maintain, upgrade, and ensure team access to critical event tools (including approvals, registration, calendar planning).
- Ensure post-event analysis, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Manage internal, industry, and proprietary events from briefing to execution.
- Sort event proposals to identify those relevant to business objectives.
- Conduct due diligence on previous years’ industry events to evaluate efficiency potential.
- For proprietary events, understand stakeholder objectives deeply to translate them into creative, appropriate proposals.
- Coordinate with the team to optimize Group branding impact and control costs.
- Oversee existing and new corporate sponsorships/partnerships, including budget reviews and database maintenance.
- Manage sponsorship contracts and activities to maximize brand visibility, recognition, and activation.
- Maintain high business and ethical standards in event implementation and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Communications & Social Media managers and regional event platforms to relay strategy, share best practices, and exchange ideas.
- Coordinate philanthropy initiatives, including donations, volunteering events, and philanthropic committees.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in Event Management.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- General knowledge of the banking industry and global financial markets is preferred.
- Experience working within a diverse, matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience with event management systems; familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus.
- Passion for events, with strong project management, data management, and budget management skills, along with an eye for detail, methodical approach, and creativity.
