Job Description

The person in this position will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns aimed at achieving key KPIs, including sales growth, customer engagement, and brand loyalty. The role also includes managing our CRM system, with a focus on segmentation, customer lifecycle management, and database optimization to enhance targeted marketing efforts.

Main responsabilities

  • Design, execute, and optimize email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to increase sales, engagement, and customer loyalty.
  • Tailor messaging to specific customer segments to improve conversion rates and lifetime value.
  • Oversee and manage our CRM system, ensuring the segmentation of customer data is accurate and effective.
  • Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud's CRM capabilities to create and maintain detailed customer profiles, ensuring campaigns are highly personalized and targeted.
  • Build and maintain automated email workflows for key customer journeys, including onboarding, nurture, cart abandonment, re-engagement, and post-purchase campaigns. Optimize these workflows to improve customer retention and increase sales.
  • Develop strategies to engage customers at different stages of their lifecycle, ensuring timely and relevant communication that strengthens loyalty and drives repeat purchases.
  • Continuously test and optimize email content, subject lines, segmentation, timing, and CTAs to improve campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.) and drive business growth.
  • Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud analytics and reporting tools to measure the performance of email campaigns and CRM activities. Provide insights and recommendations to adjust strategies in order to achieve KPIs such as sales, engagement, and loyalty.
  • Partner primarily with the marketing, sales, partnership as well as other teams to ensure email marketing campaigns and CRM initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Support the creation of cross-channel strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth.
  • Ensure all email marketing campaigns comply with Canadian data privacy laws (PIPEDA), CASL (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation), and other relevant privacy regulations.
  • Work during events, weekends, and holidays as assigned (e.g., attending community events and programs).
  • Perform other related tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications

Required qualifications

  • Personality! Proactive, detail-oriented, resourceful, solution-focused, with a strong sense of teamwork.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with hands-on expertise in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and understanding of CRM best practices.
  • Experience with email marketing and campaign management, including segmentation, automation, and A / B testing.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations; Canadian privacy and anti-spam laws (PIPEDA & CASL) as well as data hygiene best practices.
  • Proficiency in HTML / CSS for email customization.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Requires flexibility towards working hours and day ( evenings, weekends, and holidays) as needed by the Club.
