We are currently seeking a skilled Event Security Supervisor to join our team. In this role, Supervisors will oversee, train, and deliver a highly visible and advanced level of security service across various sites within the GTA. The primary focus will be on servicing different locations in Toronto with professionalism, competence, and a courteous demeanor.

Job Duties

  • Assist with the ongoing development of the on-site team.
  • Act as a liaison between management and the client, working on-site to provide efficient and appropriate security services.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Record and maintain logbooks of daily activities, unusual occurrences, and equipment issuance.
  • Provide security services at various locations, operating security systems, monitoring, and patrolling.
  • Monitor assigned areas, respond to routine, emergency, and law enforcement calls.
  • Recognize, investigate, and act on security breaches, fire and safety hazards, prohibited entry, theft, and utility malfunctions.
  • Represent the client site by providing excellent customer service, answering inquiries, and performing patrols along designated routes. Assist in the movement of visitors and staff.
  • Inform authorities during security, fire, or health emergencies.
  • Escort emergency personnel to incident locations.
  • Screen unauthorized persons and physically remove trespassers or individuals engaging in criminal acts.
  • Legally arrest individuals and surrender them to law enforcement authorities.
  • Receive and record complaints, conduct investigations, and prepare incident reports.
  • Perform emergency response duties as outlined in the Emergency Response Manual.
  • Collaborate with on-site service providers to maintain a safe environment.

Job Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Must possess a valid Security Guard License.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of security supervisor experience in Canada.
  • High School diploma or Grade 12 education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods (up to 12 hours).
  • Fluency in English (listening, speaking, and writing).

Licence / Certification

  • Security Guard Licence (required)
  • G license valid for at least 2 years with a clean driver’s abstract.
