Job description

We are currently hiring for a Food & Beverage Supervisor . The F&B Supervisor works closely with the entire Food and Beverage team to ensure a successful guest experience. This role supervises F&B operations, including outlets and banquets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized and exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Direct, delegate, and coordinate the banquets and outlet team members.
  • Build relationships with guests, corporate clients, and travelers; network to promote hotel outlets.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure service standards are met.
  • Work closely with staff to ensure meeting and function details are executed properly.
  • Maintain inventories, manage product requisitions, and ensure adequate par levels.
  • Ensure team compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Prepare for and facilitate staff meetings.
  • Maximize seating occupancy and total covers while maintaining high service quality.
  • Coach, motivate, and assist team members daily.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For...

  • Post-secondary education in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or Culinary fields preferred.
  • Experience with menu costing and food & beverage cost controls.
  • Established relationships with local suppliers are an asset.
  • Experience in a unionized environment preferred.
  • Strong record in menu and service design.
  • Hands-on training approach and leadership style focused on development and motivation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to multi-task under pressure.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and focus on fiscal results.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Ability to work cohesively with all departments.
