Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Event Coordinator supports the sales department in executing essential administrative functions that ensure the efficient operation of the Store. This role is crucial for delivering "unreasonable hospitality." The Event Coordinator handles administrative duties, confirmation calls to finalize event details, participates in the sales process, and manages a portion of social market bookings.

• You are friendly and demonstrate a "You Got It" attitude
• You possess good decision-making skills and communicate effectively with guests, the Sales Team, and Management
• You communicate clearly and regularly with Operations, the Sales Team, and guests
• You can clearly articulate guests' needs to Operations and Team Members
• You have strong organizational skills
• You have excellent verbal communication skills
• You can analyze basic data to assist Operations and the Sales Team in decision-making
• You are proficient in reading and communicating in English
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Exceed guest expectations by addressing all requests from hosts and updating contracts accordingly
• Handle RFPs and calls for social events, converting inquiries into confirmed bookings
• Conduct site tours as needed
• Distribute paperwork promptly for "pop-up" parties, coordinating with management for staffing
• Provide administrative support to the Sales Department, including follow-up on calls/emails/tasks post-sale, and communicate updates to Operations
• Follow up on accounts receivable, collect payments, and settle balances
• Submit check requests and invoices as required
• Ensure Operations has the most current BEOs for each event
• Offer upsell opportunities to Event Hosts after sales are finalized
• Perform other duties as assigned, proactively addressing team needs and sharing ideas
