Job summary

Encore Canada seeks an on-site Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in hospitality environments. You will ensure complete customer satisfaction by meeting guests on site and maintaining equipment functioning properly.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, following safety protocols, and handling order entries in Navigator. A High School Diploma is required, with a Technical Level 3 Certification target within 180 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Technical Level 3 Certification within 180 days per Encore Skillset Matrix.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for operators of Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and break down basic AV equipment and related systems.
• Meet on-site with guests to ensure equipment works and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Follow venue safety requirements and supplier protocols.
• Enter orders and complete paperwork accurately in company systems.
